The Kansas City Chiefs are starting to unravel against the Miami Dolphins.
With 2:20 left in the third quarter, Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes was sacked and fumbled, which Dolphins defensive tackle Zach Sieler recovered. On the following drive, Miami capitalized, as running back Raheem Mostert scored a 13-yard TD.

The Chiefs took a 21-0 lead into halftime. However, Miami responded in the third quarter, scoring 14 points. The rally is disconcerting for Chiefs fans because the Dolphins can easily mount a comeback attempt thanks to their explosive offense. Entering Week 9, it ranks first in the NFL in points scored (33.9).
Also, the Chiefs have nine penalties for 69 yards. On Miami's second TD drive, defensive tackle Chris Jones committed an unnecessary roughness penalty on third-and-20 to set up the Mostert TD.
Clearly, Kansas City (6-2) must regroup in this pivotal matchup that could have AFC playoff implications. The New York Times Simulator gives Miami (6-2) a 46 percent chance to earn the No. 1 seed if it wins.
