Watch: Saints TE may have autographed weirdest item ever at training camp

Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark recently signed a two-week old baby's onesie.

New Orleans Saints tight end Foster Moreau may have the NCAA's all-time leading scorer beat for most bizarre item autographed in recent memory, though, after being asked to sign a fan's oyster on Tuesday.

The Saints have spent most of their summer training camp at the University of California Irvine but are now back in town practicing at Tulane University. They hosted a nighttime practice at the Green Wave's football stadium on Tuesday night in which fans got the opportunity to take selfies with their favorite players and receive autographs.

Moreau was drafted by the then-Oakland Raiders in 2019 and spent the first four years of his career, but is from New Orleans and went to LSU.

The 27-year-old set career highs in targets (54), receptions (33) and receiving yards (420) across 15 games in 2022 but was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in March 2023.

Moreau was treated that spring subsequently signed a three-year, $12M contract with the Saints in May.

The former fourth-round pick has spent his entire career with four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Carr, who played with the Raiders from 2014-22. Carr signed with New Orleans in March 2023.

Moreau finished the 2023 campaign with 21 catches for 193 yards and one touchdown on 25 targets.
