Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley set two career highs in rushing yards on "Sunday Night Football."
The 27-year-old racked up a whopping 255 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the team's 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
That's the most he's ever posted in a single game and the most in franchise history, per the NBC broadcast. It's also the most rushing yards in a game since 2010 (Jamaal Charles, 259 yards), per the broadcast.

The second of Barkley's scores was a late fourth-quarter 72-yard dash to the endzone that sealed the victory.

That wasn't the only long-distance house call Barkley made on the night.
On the first play from scrimmage at the start of the third quarter, he ran 70 yards to the goal line and extended Philadelphia's lead to 20-7.
Barkley's 255 rushing yards give him 1,392 yards on the season, with still six more games to play. His previous career high was 1,312 in 2022 as a New York Giant.
"I got a fresh start," Barkley told Melissa Stark after the game. "I'm having fun."
New York let Barkley walk in free agency this past offseason in a somewhat contentious and controversial affair that led to him signing with the Giants' biggest rival.
Philadelphia (9-2) is now well ahead of the division rival Washington Commanders (7-5) and is in prime position to clinch the NFC East in the next few weeks.
