Watch: Seahawks win on another last-minute touchdown

Monday night, it was Drew Lock. Sunday, Geno Smith did it for Seattle.

The Seahawks QB found tight end Colby Parkinson in the end zone for the game-winning touchdown as Seattle came from behind to defeat the Tennessee Titans, 20-17. It was Smith’s second touchdown pass of the fourth quarter, overcoming Derrick Henry’s late rushing touchdown - it should be noted that Henry also passed for a score.

The victory was Seattle’s second last-minute win in less than seven days. With Smith sidelined by a groin injury Monday, backup Drew Lock hit Jaxon Smith-Njiba for a 29-yard touchdown with just 33 seconds left to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, also by a 20-17 score.

The end-game heroics may have saved the Seahawks season. The team had lost four straight games before Lock connected on his winning pass. After Smith’s TD, Seattle now sits at 8-7, in possession of the NFC’s third wild-card spot. They’ll face another wild-card aspirant next week when the Pittsburgh Steelers come to town before finishing out the regyukar seasib against the 3-11 Arizona Cardinals.

The Seahawks' season has mirrored their last couple games. Things look desperate before the team pulls it out late. But if Seattle can keep these miracle victories going, their fans will forgive them the stress of every game going down to the wire.
