Watch: Skip Bayless makes stunning prediction regarding Ezekiel Elliott's possible NFL future

Ezekiel Elliott is just 27 but is now three seasons removed from his last Pro Bowl campaign. During Thursday's "Skip and Shannon: Undisputed," co-host Skip Bayless made a surprising prediction regarding "Zeke's" future in the NFL.

Bayless' comments come four days after Elliott missed his Dallas Cowboys' 49-29 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 8 due to a knee injury. In Elliott's place, fellow running back Tony Pollard dominated on the ground with 131 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just 14 carries.

While the 25-year-old Pollard is two years Elliott's junior and has looked like the sprier runner for some time now, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has continued to back the three-time Pro Bowler out of Ohio St. On Monday, as Dallas began their bye in Week 9, when comparing the two backs he said, "We're going to go as Zeke goes."

Prior to Week 8, neither player had missed a game this season. Before that contest, the split in touches (rushing attempts and receptions) went in favor of Elliott 115 to 78.

Going into Week 9, the elder rusher has recorded 443 rushing yards on 109 carries (4.1 yards per carry) and added six receptions for 32 yards. Pollard has posted a team-high 506 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns on 81 totes (6.2 yards per carry) and has contributed 12 catches for 121 receiving yards as well.
