Watch: Taylor Lewan dresses up as Boss Hogg to celebrate huge contract
Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Taylor Lewan became the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history when the Titans signed him to a five-year deal worth $80 million that includes $50 million guaranteed money.

So, how did Lewan celebrate the mind-blowing influx of wealth? By dressing up as Hazzard County’s highfalutin — and rich — overlord/politician, Boss Hogg. For the young whippersnappers, that’s a character from “The Dukes of Hazzard,” a hokey series that aired from 1979-1985.

The show centered around the goings-on in a fictional county in Georgia featuring the quasi-criminal antics of Bo and Luke Duke, their comely cousin Daisy and wise old Uncle Jesse. And of course, one mustn’t neglect mentioning the Duke Boys’ vehicle of choice, “The General Lee,” a souped up Dodge Charger.

TV History 101 aside, how about Lewan rocking the Boss Hogg look? That’s right, Lewan showed up to his press conference on Friday regaled in Boss Hogg’s patented all-white suit and hat.

Even better? Lewan strolled in to “The Dukes of Hazzard” theme song, “Good Ol’ Boys,” by Waylon Jennings, who also served as the show’s narrator.

One question: Where’s Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane?

No word if he has any intentions of getting after the Duke boys during any spare time. Probably not as Bo and Luke are fictional characters and all.
