Despite being born without toes on his dominant foot, Tom Dempsey kicked a 63-yard field goal, which was a record for 43-years. It was a last-second, game-winning kick to lead the Saints past the Lions, but not everyone liked it. Thanks to Cowboys president and GM Tex Schramm, the NFL adjusted its rulebook so anyone without a full foot didn't have an "advantage."
