The Denver Broncos secured their seventh win of the 2026 NFL season against the Carolina Panthers. The AFC West team scored 13 points in the fourth quarter to secure the 26-21 win at Bank of America Stadium.

Bo Nix went 25 of 37 for 237 yards and two touchdowns, while Bryce Young responded with 28 completions on 39 pass attempts for 276 yards and three touchdowns. Denver improved to 7-2 while the Panthers dropped to 3-5.

A key play at the end of the third quarter may have changed everything for the Panthers.

Challenge Flag Turns Incomplete Call Into Massive Turnover for Carolina Panthers

Carolina had a first-and-goal from the one-yard line with 1:35 left in the third quarter. Stone Forsythe reported in as eligible before Young threw a pass aimed at Tommy Tremble. The pass was batted, bounced off his hand, but it never hit the ground.

That’s when Broncos safety Devon Key jumped in and secured the ball for an interception in one of the craziest sequences in NFL history.

The play was first ruled an incomplete pass. Sean Payton challenged it, and officials overturned the call to an interception and touchback. The clip racked up over 100K views in only an hour.
