Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis had quite the NFL debut over the weekend, and his impressive performance earned him quite a few accolades.
The rookie signal-caller was voted by fans as the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Week, but he was arguably more excited about winning the “NFL Slimetime” NVP award, an award given by Nickelodeon for each week’s top standout performance.

Levis received his NVP Award on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park, where the Titans practice, right after his teammates dowsed him in some of Nickelodeon’s trademark slime.
The 24-year-old rookie completed 19 of 29 passes for 238 yards and four touchdowns with a passer rating of 130.5 in a 28-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. He became just the third QB in NFL history to throw four or more touchdowns in his first start and the fifth QB with a passer rating of 130 or better in his debut (minimum 20 pass attempts).
Levis, who grew up a Nickelodeon fan, stated he’s always wanted to be slimed. He’s the second Titans player to win the award, joining running back Derrick Henry, who was given an NVP for his 20-carry, 143-yard, three-touchdown performance against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6 of the 2021 season.
