When Tom Brady took on his role as minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, there was a lot of concern as to how he could objectively do his job as an analyst on Fox, specifically when it came to his willingness to criticize the league's referees.
While Brady's first year in the broadcast booth has been a little rocky at times, he has started to find his voice as the season has progressed. He also showed on Sunday night he is not afraid to be critical of the officials with their calls on the field.
There were two very questionable penalty calls in the first quarter of Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, benefitting both teams.
Brady was not a fan of either call and made that point very clear. In doing so, he also referenced the "Tuck Rule Game."
Brady also disagreed with this call against the Chiefs.

That commentary was in response to an unnecessary roughness penalty on Chiefs defensive back Trent McDuffie, giving the Eagles a big first down and helping to set up their first touchdown of the game.
That call came after the Eagles' opening series ended due to an offensive pass interference call on A.J. Brown that negated a huge 4th-and-2 conversion.
Both calls were controversial, with the Fox broadcast almost universally agreeing that neither play should have been flagged.
Brady, of course, is no stranger to controversial calls, with the Tuck Rule being one of the most famous moments of his career. In the 2001 playoffs against the Oakland Raiders, Brady appeared to fumble the ball in the snow on a play that would have likely resulted in a Patriots loss. The play was eventually ruled as an incomplete pass because of the Tuck Rule, extending the Patriots' drive and helping jumpstart their run to their first Super Bowl championship.
There is no telling what happens to Brady's career or the Patriots dynasty if that call does not get overturned. It also did not get the same level of analysis that calls get today due to the absence of social media.
