It has been a rough year for quarterback injuries. Just ask Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets or Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Speaking of the Bengals, they were locked in a tight one on "Monday Night Football" against the Jaguars when Jacksonville's star quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, had to leave the game with a brutal-looking injury of his own.
He either had his ankle rolled up on or stepped on — or both. It was bad enough that he fell to the ground after the fact, slamming his fist on the field in frustration and presumably pain.
Not Trevor Lawrence

You can hear the audible groan of the Jacksonville crowd upon seeing Lawrence go down.
There was also this shot of the young QB barely being able to walk to the locker room.

Hopefully, this won't be season-ending for Lawrence, but the optics don't look good.
