Week 9 of the NFL Season is in the books. Here are the Week 10 quarterback rankings for fantasy football. This week, the quarterbacks on bye are Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, Joe Flacco, and Cam Ward, while Jayden Daniels is out for the foreseeable future.

Quarterback Rankings Week 10 Fantasy Football

Tier 1: The Big 4

Rank Player Opponent
1 Lamar Jackson Minnesota Vikings
2 Josh Allen Miami Dolphins
3 Jalen Hurts Green Bay Packers
4 Drake Maye Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This top tier of quarterbacks is the best of the best in fantasy football, with a newcomer to the top tier:

  • Jackson returned from his three-week absence and scored over 25 fantasy points in the victory over the Dolphins. Jackson threw for four touchdowns. He only rushed for 14 yards, but the Ravens were in full control, and they did not want to do too much with Jackson returning from injury.
  • Maye had his worst game of the last month, but the Patriots won their sixth straight game. Maye has a great matchup against the Buccaneers in Week 10, jumping him into the top tier of the quarterback rankings for the first time in his career.

Tier 2: Low-End QB1s

Rank Player Opponent
5 Jaxson Dart Chicago Bears
6 Justin Herbert Pittsburgh Steelers
7 Jared Goff Washington Commanders
8 Caleb Williams New York Giants
9 Baker Mayfield New England Patriots
10 Sam Darnold Arizona Cardinals

These guys are low-end QB1s, and I feel comfortable starting any of them as my QB1 this week:

  • Herbert is red hot, having three straight top-five fantasy weekly finishes having three total touchdowns in each game. Herbert has another great matchup coming up against the Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
  • Darnold put on a show on Sunday Night Football, completing 21/24 passes for 330 yards and four touchdowns. He did not have an incompletion in the first half, and all four of his touchdowns occurred in the second half. This national primetime game could have put Darnold in the MVP conversation. Fire him up as a top ten option in Week 10.

Tier 3: High-End QB2s

Rank Player Opponent
11 Matthew Stafford San Francisco 49ers
12 Bo Nix Las Vegas Raiders
13 Daniel Jones Atlanta Falcons
14 Jordan Love Philadelphia Eagles
15 Brock Purdy* Los Angeles Rams

This tier consists of the high-end QB2s:

  • Stafford has thrown nine touchdowns in the last two games and has four top ten fantasy finishes in the last five weeks. Even without the rushing upside, his passing volume is driving his fantasy production.
  • Love and the Packers laid a dud in their surprising loss to the Panthers last week. Love finished with single-digit fantasy points for the first time all season. He has a tougher matchup in a big game against the Eagles on Monday Night Football.

Tier 4: Superflex Options Only

Rank Player Opponent
16 Marcus Mariota Detroit Lions
17 Kyler Murray* Seattle Seahawks
18 Justin Fields Cleveland Browns
19 J.J. McCarthy Baltimore Ravens
20 Michael Penix Jr. Indianapolis Colts

These players are options only in very deep leagues or SuperFlex leagues:

  • Mariota will take over as the starting quarterback for the Commanders with the devastating injury to Daniels. In his three starts, Mariota scored 20, 16, and 11 fantasy points, so he has shown he can provide fantasy production.
  • After missing five games due to injury, McCarthy finally returned to the field and led the Vikings to a road victory over the Lions. He only completed 14 of 25 passes, but had two passing touchdowns and one rushing one.
