Week 5 NFL winners: Nathaniel Hackett gets last laugh on Sean Payton

With most of the NFL's Week 5 games in the books, here are some of the standing performances by coaches and players around the league.

George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers: There is not much to like about the Steelers' offense this season, but wide receiver George Pickens is definitely one of the few bright spots. He had a huge game in their sloppy 17-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, catching six passes for 130 yards and the game-winning 41-yard touchdown with 1:17 to play in the fourth quarter.

Along with the game-winning catch, he made some truly jaw-dropping grabs along the sidelines to make plays in traffic and still get his feet in bounds. He also had a 16-yard run. He can be a star if quarterback Kenny Pickett can get him the ball consistently.

Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals: Speaking of big games by star wide receivers, no wide receiver in the history of the Bengals has had a better game than the one Ja'Marr Chase had on Sunday. He set a franchise record by catching 15 passes for 193 yards and three touchdowns in the Bengals' 34-20 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The Bengals offense has looked out of sync all season, failing to score a touchdown in two of their first four games entering play on Sunday. But they showed they can still light up the scoreboard and Sunday's game might be the week they need to get everything on track.

Justin Fields, QB, Chicago Bears: It has been a rough year at times for Fields, but he has shown a lot of promise over the past two weeks, throwing for 617 yards and eight touchdowns over the past two weeks. He was able to eliminate the turnovers that have plagued him this season in Thursday's game, helping the Bears get their first win off the season and snap a franchise-record losing streak. The talent is there. He just needs the consistency.

Nathaniel Hackett, offensive coordinator, New York Jets: The Jets clearly had this game circled for their offensive coordinator and wanted to send a message to Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton after the way he ripped Hackett's coaching job in Denver.

The Jets offense had a difficult time finishing drives, but they outgained the Broncos 407-308, including 234 yards on the ground. Hackett and the Jets were clearly fired up for the performance, with Hackett getting the only game ball from head coach Robert Saleh after the win.

De'Von Achane, RB, Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins offense is re-writing record books through the first five games of the season, and Achane is putting up some of the most incredible numbers out of anybody on the roster. With another 151 yards on only 11 carries on Sunday, he has already rushed for 460 yards on 38 carries through his first four games.

That is a 12.1-yard per-carry average. Averaging over 12 yards per touch would be an impressive number for a wide receiver. It is a staggering number for a running back.

Dan Campbell, head coach, Detroit Lions: The Lions might have finally found the head coach that is going to get them back to relevance and the long-awaited playoff win. He has brought an incredible energy to Detroit and for as much as he has talked about being a physical "kneecap biting" team, he has also brought some true innovation to the offense and helped get quarterback Jared Goff's career back on track. This is the best team in the NFC North with the best coach.

Zack Moss, RB, Indianapolis ColtsWith Jonathan Taylor under contract long-term and back in the lineup, Moss has to know his role is about to take a significant hit in future weeks. He showed on Sunday he is not going to give it up without a fight.

He had a monster game in the Colts' 23-16 win over the Tennessee Titans in a huge AFC South matchup, rushing for 165 yards on 23 carries while also adding another 30 yards on two receptions. He also scored two touchdowns as the Colts offense had to overcome another injury to rookie starting quarterback Anthony Richardson.
