What Can We Learn From 2025 Fantasy Football ADP?

Fantasy football Average Draft Position (ADP) is a useful tool when learning how to properly compare player valuations and also see how your competition tends to view the draftboard.

Many factors come into play with ADP data. Unfortunately, few sites delineate between scoring formats, mocks, league sizes/structure, and recency of the selections. All of those elements play substantial roles in determining the most accurate ADP trends, but a good way to help offset some of the ambiguity is to utilize aggregate sourcing.

FantasyPros.com's ADP charts are compiled using several key industry platforms, including RTSports, ESPN, NFL, CBS Sports, Yahoo! Sports, Fantrax, and Sleeper. A recent addition to their tracker is the real-time trending column, which illustrates nuanced movement across all platforms. MyFantasyLeague.com features perhaps the most customizable ADP charts, but the data is isolated to just MFL-hosted leagues, so we'll utilize the FantasyPros tracker to cast a wider net.

Before we get into it, one caveat has to be made explicitly clear. ADP is merely a guideline. It's not meant to be treated as the be-all, end-all solution, and fantasy gamers need to rely on their cheat sheets. Draft placement is worth tracking to get a feel for how drafters are viewing any given player -- so long as you don't considered ADP an exact science. Reaching a round or two for your favorite sleeper picks is preferred to being caught holding the bag as a league mate ignores ADP and beats you to the punch.
