The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 23. The first round will be held that night, followed by Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday, April 24, and Rounds 4 through 7 on Saturday, April 25.
The San Francisco 49ers currently hold seven selections in the 2026 NFL Draft, though that number could change depending on potential trades. After finishing the 2025 regular season with a 12–5 record and advancing to the Divisional Round of the playoffs, San Francisco is slated to make its first selection at No. 27 overall in the first round.
Three of the 49ers' seven picks are compensatory selections awarded by the NFL.
Here are the 49ers' current 2026 NFL Draft picks:
The 49ers retained their original selections in the first four rounds. All three compensatory picks were awarded in the fourth round, falling after the team's initial selections.
If San Francisco ultimately makes just seven selections, it would mark the fewest picks the team has made since selecting five players in 2020.
The 49ers currently do not hold a pick after the fourth round.
San Francisco sent its fifth-round selection to the Philadelphia Eagles as part of the trade for defensive end Bryce Huff. The Eagles went on to acquire running back Tank Bigsby from the Jacksonville Jaguars with the selection and an additional pick.
The team traded its sixth-round pick to the Washington Commanders in exchange for running back Brian Robinson Jr.
The 49ers also dealt their seventh-round selection to the Houston Texans in exchange for defensive lineman Khalil Davis during the 2024 season.
