The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24. The first round will take place that night, followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 25, and the fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday, April 26.
The San Francisco 49ers currently hold 11 picks in this year's draft, though that could change with trades. Their first selection is in the first round at No. 11 overall.
Here are all 11 of the 49ers' current picks:
The 49ers retained most of their original draft picks. However, they forfeited a fifth-round pick last year and had their fourth-round selection pushed to the end of the round as a penalty for payroll accounting violations.
The third-round compensatory pick stems from the losses of DeMeco Ryans and Ran Carthon in 2023. Ryans became the head coach of the Houston Texans, while Carthon took over as the Tennessee Titans' general manager.
The other compensatory picks reflect the 49ers' net loss of free agents last offseason. Quarterback Sam Darnold, wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud, tight end Charlie Woerner, and defensive linemen Clelin Ferrell, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Javon Kinlaw, and Chase Young all signed with other teams. Offsetting some of those departures were the additions of cornerback Isaac Yiadom and defensive linemen Leonard Floyd, Elliott Jordan, and Yetur Gross-Matos.
The fifth-round selection stems from the trade of wide receiver Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders. The seventh-round pick comes from the trade for kicker Zane Gonzalez with the Carolina Panthers, which included a swap of seventh-round selections.
