Team USA snowboarder Chloe Kim is on the cusp of history at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games as she aims to win her third consecutive gold medal in the women’s halfpipe competition.

Kim, a Torrance, California, native, first rose to prominence at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games, becoming the youngest woman to win the event at 17. She successfully defended her title at the 2022 Beijing Games and now looks to become the first athlete, male or female, to win three straight gold medals in the halfpipe.

The 25-year-old phenom has already taken the first step toward that goal, qualifying for the finals on Wednesday. During her qualifying run at Livigno Snow Park in Livigno, Italy, a popular NFL player, who is also fresh off making history, was spotted cheering her on.

Yes, it was Cleveland Browns star pass rusher Myles Garrett, and the pair have been dating for quite some time.

Kim's and Garrett's Relationship Timeline

Kim and Garrett first sparked dating rumors in May when they attended the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan together. The U.S. snowboarder later confirmed the relationship when she attended a Browns road game in November against the Las Vegas Raiders.

"We're both just so supportive of one another," Garrett told People. "She's always texting, she's always calling to see how I'm doing during the year, and I'm doing the same right now, checking on her, seeing how she's feeling, emotionally and physically."

Kim also spoke highly of Garrett during a December interview with USA Today, praising the NFL single-season sack record-holder. Garrett racked up 23 sacks last season, breaking the NFL's record of 22.5 sacks held by T.J. Watt and Michael Strahan.

"Myles is such an incredible athlete," the three-time world champion said. "I’m constantly inspired and in awe of him and how hard he works and how incredibly kind he is. He genuinely is one of the kindest people I think I’ve ever met. I’m really lucky to be part of his life and lucky that he’s part of mine."

With the NFL season now over, Garrett is in Italy supporting his girlfriend as she prepares for the finals, which are set to air at 1:30 p.m. ET Thursday on NBC and Peacock.
