The Miami Dolphins have placed All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey on the trade market and will move off the veteran after just two years in Miami. The star cornerback will have plenty of suitors, but there is one team that's garnered attention recently as a fit.
During a segment on the "Up & Adams" show, former NFL defensive back Jason McCourtey pointed towards an NFC North team as a potential fit for the Dolphins' cornerback.

McCourtey said, "One team that I've seen some people mention, but not a lot of people mention, is the Minnesota Vikings."
The Minnesota Vikings have a need at defensive back, and with Ramsey, they'd have someone who could wear multiple hats for that defense. With Brian Flores' defense in 2024 showcasing a lot of potential, the addition of Ramsey would take them over the top.
Not only would Ramsey be a good fit for the Vikings, but the Dolphins would also not have to worry about sending him to their competition. Minnesota is in the NFC, and the Dolphins are in the AFC. Not having to go against the star player that was just traded is an incentive to send Ramsey to Minnesota.
The 30-year-old cornerback has multiple years left on his deal, and once June 1st passes, he will be traded. McCourtey sees the Vikings as an excellent fit for Ramsey. With Ramsey having connections with Kevin O'Connell from their time with the Los Angeles Rams, the trade spot makes even more sense.
Fortunately for Miami, the trade talks around Ramsey have heated up in recent weeks. June 1st is the day on which the Dolphins could make a trade of Ramsey that makes sense monetarily. Fortunately for Miami, teams are beginning to show a great deal more interest as June 1st approaches.
McCourtey's call-out of the Vikings as an excellent fit for Ramsey would make sense for everyone involved. The Dolphins would net a solid return and would not have to face Ramsey. Ramsey would land in a great situation, and the Vikings would get a massive upgrade at cornerback.
