Logan Paul says he is confident Jalen Hurts could end up getting traded after the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, using one sequence from their on-field clash as the basis for his taunt.
The comment came after Paul’s appearance in the celebrity event at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, where he lined up against Hurts and Tom Brady.
What followed was less a real warning than a public attempt to turn one moment in the game into a bigger joke.
Logan Paul posted the message after the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, where he claimed he made two decisive plays against Jalen Hurts.
“I’d like to apologize to Jalen Hurts for sacking you and later deflecting a pass that then got intercepted by my team, allowing us to score on the very next possession,” Paul said.
Paul’s point was not a serious analysis of Hurts’ future. It was an attempt to stretch one exhibition sequence into a larger punchline at the Eagles quarterback’s expense.
That is why the trade line landed as classic Logan Paul trolling, especially given the event’s entertainment-heavy build-up and his wider trash talk with Brady.
Logan Paul doubled down by suggesting that one bad sequence for Jalen Hurts was enough to create embarrassment, even in a flag football exhibition.
“If you get traded or your contract gets cut down, now we know why, and it’s probably pretty embarrassing. So I am sorry,” Paul added.
In reality, the moment was part of a made-for-entertainment event rather than anything meaningful for Hurts’ NFL future.
But for Paul, that was enough. He turned a single defensive sequence into a viral joke and made Hurts part of the bit.
