Wild stat shows how Bills are failing Josh Allen

Josh Allen turned back the clock and regressed to his worst tendencies in the 30-13 road loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

The Buffalo Bills star looked exhausted during the hot and humid afternoon, and he had some costly turnovers in a game that was never close. However, as erratic as he was, he had no choice but to do it all for his team in Week 10. He had to find passing lanes where they weren't, scramble to get first downs and almost even catch passes himself.

Bills' lack of weapons is hurting Josh Allen

As shown by Carl Jones of News 4 Buffalo, Allen actually had plenty of time to throw. But with no one open, there wasn't much to do.

This loss shed light on the Bills' roster flaws again. They have no weapons in the passing game; no one can get open.

The Dolphins did an amazing job of limiting RB James Cook, who had 13 carries for 53 yards and one lost fumble. And once the Bills can't run the ball, their offense shuts down almost entirely.

Allen is extending plays, rolling out of the pocket and trying to make something happen. That's inevitably going to lead to some turnovers and erratic throws, and that's not on him.

GM Brandon Beane failed to add another wide receiver at the trade deadline. With Keon Coleman failing to break out in Year 2, they still haven't found a legitimate WR1 to replace Stefon Diggs.
