The Baltimore Ravens have one of the most proficient offenses in the National Football League.
They also have arguably the greatest dual-threat quarterback in league history, a perennial MVP who's just entering his prime and seemingly getting better by the year. Still, they're 1-2, and they're letting Lamar Jackson down. As pointed out by NFL.com researcher Dante Koplowitz-Fleming, Jackson has now made unfortunate NFL history.
"Lamar Jackson is the first quarterback in NFL history with 9+ pass touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and a losing record through three games," he wrote on X.

The Ravens have put up a whopping 111 points through the first three games of the season, which is also the most by any team in NFL history with a losing record in the first three weeks of a season.
Jackson is putting together another MVP-caliber season, but his defense just can't get a stop. Even his best sidekick, Derrick Henry, has fallen short in both of the losses. Henry has had two crucial late-game fumbles that have cost the Ravens two wins now. While there's no way they're going to bench or stop using him, he has to do better.
Jackson has been under heavy fire — and rightfully so — for his shortcomings in the playoffs. He hasn't been as dominant as he's been in the regular season. This season, however, he might be playing the best football of his career. The defense, poor coaching and subpar execution from a veteran keep holding him back.
