The Ohio State Buckeyes are the 2024 College Football Playoff national champions after defeating the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Monday night.

Quarterback Will Howard earned National Championship Offensive Player of the Game honors. He finished the night with 231 passing yards, completing 17-of-21 attempts, and threw two touchdowns.

A few days later, on Friday, he shared a new Dr Pepper ad on Instagram, highlighting his partnership with the popular soft drink brand.

The video shows Howard grabbing a Dr Pepper jacket, looking over his shoulder and winking at the camera. In the next scene, he’s wearing the jacket, pouring the drink into his mouth with an outstretched arm as it spills down his face. The ad wraps up with Howard striking a few stylish poses and laughing.

"#ad Championship football, it’s a Pepper thing," the Buckeye quarterback captioned his post. "Custom Dr Pepper fit by @nigelxavier."

Howard wraps up his college career after spending four seasons at Kansas State and one at Ohio State. He transferred to Columbus last offseason and was determined to lead the Buckeyes to a national title.

He finished the season throwing 4,010 yards, 35 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. The 6-foot-4, 235-pound signal-caller is now set to take his talents to the NFL.
