Will Jayden Daniels-Led Commanders Be 'Dazzling' In 2025?

It was only a little over a year ago that the Washington Commanders were in the NFL doldrums and were a tough watch for a host of reasons.

But enter Dan Quinn, Adam Peters, and Jayden Daniels last offseason.

The trio helped transform Washington from a four-win team in 2023 to one that went to the NFC Championship game a year later...and they looked good doing it.

With Daniels taking all before him both as a runner and passer, Terry McLaurin having a stellar season, and a run game that bullied defenses, the Commanders doubled down this offseason.

In came Deebo Samuel for more offensive juice and Laremy Tunsil to better protect the 47-time-sacked Daniels at left tackle.

And for USA Today's Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz, that all translates into Washington being a rather good team in 2025, as it ranks No. 7 among all 32 teams for entertainment value.

"The Commanders looked to capitalize on Jayden Daniels' dazzling debut by surrounding the Offensive Rookie of the Year with much more support, namely five-time Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil, first-round right tackle Josh Conerly Jr. and versatile veteran receiver Deebo Samuel," Middlehurst-Schwartz writes.

"So long as offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury keeps up the work that put him back on the head-coaching radar, all of the new additions should combine to be major assets in one of the most noteworthy sophomore follow-ups in some time."

Daniels alone is worthy of putting the Commanders in the top-10, but then we add in Deebo, who is a menace as a receiver and runner, plus McLaurin and Kliff Kingsbury's offensive wizardry, Washington has all the tools to be a top offense.

And when you are a top offense, you put up points for fun, and what's more entertaining than a team that scores a lot of touchdowns?

The Commanders have lofty expectations entering the new season, but Quinn will have them on the straight and narrow to make sure the main thing stays the main thing.

And when they hit the field in Week 1, they'll be one of the most exciting teams in football to watch.
