Will Levis has signed with a new NFL team

Will Levis started 21 games in two seasons with the Tennessee Titans, but he has now found a new team ahead of Week 3 of the 026 season.

The Titans waived Levis prior to Week 1 , and now the New York Jets are bringing him to their practice squad, according to Netflix insider Tom Pelissero.

Levis, who was selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, won just five games as the Titans’ starting quarterback. He then missed the entire 2025 season due to an injury, and his chance of getting playing time took a hit when Cam Ward was selected first overall in 2025.

The Jets had brought in Levis for a workout on September 3, but they didn’t sign him until Tuesday.

The corresponding move was Bailey Zappe being released, and that was expected after rookie QB Cade Klubnik was named the backup to Geno Smith going into the season.

Levis is still only 27 years old, but he hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since Week 18 of the 2024 NFL season.
