Chloe Kim is feeling better after a recent setback at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. The past few days have been an emotional rollercoaster for the American snowboarding icon.

Kim entered the Milan Cortina Games with back-to-back halfpipe gold medals from PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022. However, during the women’s halfpipe final, she fell on her last two runs, allowing South Korea’s Choi Gaon to win gold.

The 25-year-old earned silver but made history as the first athlete to win a medal in three consecutive Olympic halfpipe events. Kim’s boyfriend, Cleveland Browns superstar Myles Garrett, was by her side to celebrate the achievement.

Fresh off his second Defensive Player of the Year award, Garrett flew to Italy to support Kim in person. He watched her closely during her runs at the Livigno Snow Park, cheering for every trick she attempted.

Fans and media captured the couple hugging and smiling, showing their strong bond. Garrett made sure he was there when Kim completed her historic run.

On Tuesday, the Olympic snowboarder shared a personal update on Instagram. In her Instagram stories, she said she’s “so sick.” However, she added that buying a handbag was helping her feel better.

“I bought this bag today. So cute. It’s making me feel better,” she said as she showed a blue Chanel handbag to her followers.

Kim decided to treat herself amid the unfortunate turn of events. Her memorable time at the Olympics has been spoiled by her illness.

In recent days, Kim’s spirits have stayed high, thanks in part to thoughtful gifts from the 30-year-old NFL standout. Days before Valentine’s Day, she shared that she received a bouquet of flowers from Garrett. The couple spent their Feb. 14 celebration together in Italy.

Later, she revealed a gift-wrapped custom pink Ford Bronco with her “CK” initials stitched into the seats. It was Garrett's lavish Valentine's Day present for Kim.

The American Olympian has praised Garrett for his constant support and dedication. In a recent interview, she called him her best friend and expressed deep gratitude for all he does for her.

Despite his demanding NFL schedule, Kim said he always makes time for her. In return, she also strives to support him.

The couple first sparked dating rumors in May 2025, when they were seen at an anime event in Japan. They went Instagram official in September. Kim has also been spotted cheering for Garrett during a Browns game.
