Coach Talk“Defensively, he’ll be a two-year starter for us. He’s got tremendous body control, he’s athletic, he’s got makeup speed, he can jump, he’s got great coverage skills. He’s an athlete that we trust on an island and he’s very capable. Offensively, I think he’s going to have a big year. He’s got tremendous speed and is one of the fastest kids I’ve coached at Peters Township. He’s long and a tremendous athlete. With his ability to play either side of the ball with that athletic ability really makes him attractive to other schools.” — Peters Township head coach TJ Plack |
McCullough was a key part of Peters Township’s first-ever WPIAL title in 2023. As a wideout, McCullough is a threat both inside and out. Has great ball skills and does an outstanding job generating yards after the catch with his breakaway speed. He can simply take the top off of any defense. On the defensive side of the ball, McCullough is a lockdown defensive back who plays soundly in man coverage. He reads the quarterback well and is a takeaway threat. Also does a nice job at sniffing out the run and coming up to make tackles.
