Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb backed up his claim that Dallas should throw him the ball more in a 43-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
Against the Rams, the 24-year-old logged career highs in receptions (12 on 14 targets) and receiving yards (158) and finished with two TDs.

"Give me the ball and see what happens," Lamb recently said, via The Athletic's Jon Machota. "Just let me do what I can do to provide for this team. I know all my brothers in the locker room know I got their back. And I say that confidently."
Over the past two games, Lamb has 21 targets. Outside of a 13-target offering in Week 2, Lamb only had 22 targets combined in the team's other four games. It's clear Dallas (5-2) should keep looking to him more after back-to-back victories.
Lamb's impact on the offense cannot be overstated. Since drafting Lamb with the 17th overall pick in 2020, the Cowboys are 7-9 when he has less than 50 receiving yards. When he has 70 or more yards, they're 22-5, per Machota.
Also, it benefits Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott when he targets No. 88. This season, Prescott has completed an astounding 82 percent of his passes while targeting Lamb, per ESPN fantasy writer Eric Moody. Coincidentally, Prescott completed 25-of-31 passes for 304 yards and a season-high four TDs against the Rams.
CeeDee Lamb is the first player in Dallas Cowboys history to have multiple career games with at least 10 receptions, 150 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

Lamb has established himself as the best offensive playmaker for the Cowboys this season, so the team should make getting him the ball the focal point of its game plan. Even though teams will eventually double-cover him, it will create opportunities for others.
Dallas needs Lamb to maintain his hot hand as the Cowboys prepare for a road game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Although Philadelphia is 7-1, its 18th-ranked passing defense (227.4 yards per game) is a weakness the Cowboys can exploit.
