Bengals defensive tackle B.J. Hill is taking it slow in his 2025 offseason ramp-up. Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor addressed Hill wearing a walking boot to start voluntary workouts.

The Bengals' best defensive tackle will be in the boot for a few weeks.

"It'll be a couple of weeks here in the offseason program, which I'm thankful for," Taylor said on Friday about the injury. "We'll be very slow to go with him in the offseason. B.J. is a guy who's accrued a lot of reps here, knows what we're doing, so we'll be very careful."

Cincinnati signed Hill to a three-year, $33 million deal this offseason to lead the Bengals' defensive tackle room.

He is the top veteran to go with TJ Slaton, Kris Jenkins, McKinnley Jackson, and more. Hill posted a 70.2 Pro Football Focus grade last season, his second-best mark as a Bengal.
