Zay Flowers has reached a milestone for the Baltimore Ravens, clearing the injury report ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
ESPN reporter Jamison Hensley shared the update Wednesday, Oct. 14. Flowers had dealt with a foot issue and was limited during Baltimore’s preparations for its Week 5 game against Atlanta.
His clean status is encouraging for an offense that relies on the wide receiver to create separation. The Ravens did not list him with an injury designation Wednesday.
The timing matters because quarterback Lamar Jackson remains a concern. Jackson did not practice Wednesday while dealing with an ankle injury, leaving his availability for Cleveland uncertain. Baltimore will monitor him through the week.

Tyler Huntley filled in for Jackson during the Ravens’ 30-23 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons. If Jackson cannot play again, Huntley will need reliable passing options, and Flowers’ availability could be important against a divisional opponent.
Flowers led Baltimore in receiving yards through the opening five games, giving the offense a dependable target who can contribute from the slot or outside. A week without an injury designation is a positive development as the Ravens prepare for Cleveland.
There were encouraging developments Wednesday. Outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson returned to full practice after missing the previous two games with a finger injury, while rookie receiver Ja’Kobi Lane practiced fully as he works toward a return from injured reserve.
Center Cam Jurgens was limited while working through concussion protocol, and tight end Matthew Hibner did not practice because of a hand injury.
Baltimore enters the Browns game on a three-game winning streak after improving to 4-1. Flowers’ clean report is a positive step, but Jackson’s ankle remains the consequential question as the Ravens prepare for a road test with division implications.
