Zay Jones agrees to sign with NFC West team

Free-agent wide receiver Zay Jones has a new team.

Jones has agreed to sign with the Arizona Cardinals, according to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Jones had also received interest from the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans.

Jones will likely function as veteran depth for the Cardinals, who just selected Marvin Harrison Jr. in the NFL Draft. Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch will also take snaps, but Jones certainly has the opportunity to work his way into that rotation.

The 29-year-old Jones spent the last two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was productive in 2022, tallying 823 receiving yards and five touchdowns, but saw his numbers decline in 2023 as he was limited to just nine games.

He attracted significant interest elsewhere but will look to bounce back in Arizona.
