The big omissions, which were expected, but are still polarizing, include Adm Fox, Cole Caufield, and Jason Robertson . The lone forward to make the 4 Nations that was left off the Olympic roster is Chris Kreider.

Twenty-three players will make their Olympic debut, including Matt Boldy, Kyle Connor, Jack Eichel, Jake Guentzel, Noah Hanifin, Connor Hellebuyck, Jack Hughes, Quinn Hughes, Seth Jones, and Clayton Keller.

The roster also includes Dylan Larkin, Auston Matthews, Charlie McAvoy, J.T. Miller, Brock Nelson, Jake Oettinger, Jaccob Slavin, Jeremy Swayman, Tage Thompson, Brady Tkachuk, Matthew Tkachuk, Vincent Trocheck and Zach Werenski.

“We’re excited about our team and congratulate everyone named today,” Bill Guerin, the U.S. general manager, said. “It was incredibly difficult for our management group to get to the final roster and that’s a credit to so many in our country, including all those at the grassroots level who help make our sport so strong. There’s nothing like the Olympics and I know our players and staff will represent our country well and work hard to achieve our ultimate goal.”

The U.S. opens Olympic play against Latvia on February 12 in Milan.

The 2026 U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team was also announced and features 23 players, highlighted by five-time Olympian Hilary Knight and veteran leaders Kendall Coyne Schofield, Lee Stecklein, Cayla Barnes, and Alex Carpenter. Eleven players bring Olympic experience, while 12 will make their Olympic debut in Milan. Most of the roster helped Team USA win gold at the 2025 IIHF Women’s World Championship. The U.S. opens play against Czechia on February 5.

The U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team includes 14 players led by Josh Pauls, Declan Farmer and Brody Roybal, with Kayden Beasley and Liam Cunningham making their Paralympic debut.
