The Hershey Bears have seen a good part of their 2024-25 roster sign overseas. Today, they hope to have started to address that issue as they signed defenseman John Fusco out of Dartmouth College and forward Patrick Guzzo from the Manitoba Moose. Fusco this season in 32 games recorded 21 points on 11 goals and ten assists. He was a +15 with two power-play goals, six game-winning goals, and 49 penalty minutes. Guzzo, this past season, played in three games with the Moose. He didn’t record a point and finished as a minus-one. He also played in 36 games at Ohio State. Guzzo had 15 points on nine goals and six assists. He was a plus-eight with two game-winning goals and eight penalty minutes.

Fusco started at Harvard, where in 26 games he had a goal and an assist. He was a minus-one with eight penalty minutes. He then transferred to Dartmouth. In his first season at Dartmouth, he played in 22 games, recording 11 points on three goals and eight assists. He was a minus-eight with 23 penalty minutes. In his second and final season, he had 17 points on seven goals and ten assists. He was a minus-six with 19 penalty minutes.
Guzzo spent five seasons at Ohio State. In his first season, in 26 games, he scored two goals and finished with a minus-seven with four penalty minutes. In his season, in 31 games, he had 12 points on six goals and six assists. He was a plus-nine. In his third season, he played in 40 games, recording 17 points on nine goals and eight assists. He was a plus-three with six penalty minutes. In Guzzo’s fourth season, he was named the captain, recording 15 points on eight goals and seven assists. He was a minus-two with 15 penalty minutes.
