The Providence Bruins are off tonight as they face the Charlotte Checkers tomorrow and Sunday with puck drop tomorrow set for 4:00 PM EST. The Maine Mariners will face the Adirondack Thunder this weekend for a crucial three games. The Mariners will do so without forward Jacob Perreault as he is heading to Charlotte to play with the Providence Bruins. Perreault this season has played in nine games with Providence recording five points on three goals and two assists; he was a minus-one. In 25 games with Maine he has 27 points on 11 goals and 16 assists; he’s a plus-ten.

Perreault spent two seasons in the OHL with the Sarnia Sting where in 120 games he had 125 points on 69 goals and 56 assists; he was a -33. The Anaheim Ducks drafted Perreault 27th overall in the 2020 NHL Draft. He played in 161 got the San Diego Gulls in the AHL. He had 91 points on 32 goals and 59 assists; he was a -31. Perreault played one game with the Ducks but didn’t record a point and was a minus-one.
He then joined the Canadiens organization playing in 19 games for the Laval Rocket where he had a goal and an assist; he was a minus-three. Perreault played in five games with the Trois-Rivières Lions recording a goal and four assists; he was a plus-one. He also joined the Bakersfield Condors last season where in 38 games he had three goals and 11 assists; he was a -17.
