Alex Ovechkin's Wife Reveals Candid Behind-the-Scenes Moments of Life with an NHL Superstar in a New Post

Alex Ovehkin's wife, Anastasia Shubskaya revealed in an Instagram post what it's like to be married to an NHL player.

Hockey players' lives are not always easy, as they must make many sacrifices to stay on top of their game. Most of the time, those who pay the price are the players' families. After all, players are on the road for half of the season, and most are leaving their wives at home.

Alex Ovechkin has been in the NHL for 20 years. He's now 39 years old and got married back in 2016 to Anastasia Shubskaya. While it's been eight years since the couple got married, she's still getting used to what it's like to be married to a superstar.

In Washington, no one is more popular than Alex Ovechkin, and his wife shared an Instagram story in which we get a glimpse of his popularity, and what it's like for her to be married to him.

She posted a video from a restaurant, with a kid wearing an Ovi jersey in the room. The caption makes us believe that she seems to enjoy it.

As of now, Ovi scored three points in three games this season but hasn't scored his first goal yet, still 42 goals away form Wayne Gretzky's record. Unfortunately, he's been struggling on the ice since he was moved to the right wing by the Capitals for the first time in his career.

The Capitals' captain will look to score his first goal of the season tonight, as they visit the Alex Ovechkin has been in the NHL for 20 years. He's now 39 years old
