Anaheim Ducks Send 8-Word Honda Center Message

As the Anaheim Ducks get ready for the new NHL season, there is a real buzz around the team. Following a jump in the standings last year, the Ducks are being seen as a team that can push for a playoff spot this season.

Anaheim didn't sit on things and made some big changes this summer. First off, the team brought in Stanley Cup-winning coach Joel Quenneville to lead the charge, giving them some credibility behind the bench.

But the organization also added to the roster, trading for star wing Ch ris Kreider to help bolster the offense. Adding Kreider around the young players on the team should give the Ducks a boost, and there is real excitement in Anaheim for the first time in years.

Ahead of the new season, the Ducks' social media account posted a video of the Honda Center getting painted. Within the post, the Ducks sent a short message to the fans.

This simple post from the Ducks should get fans excited for the upcoming year. This team has a lot of firepower, and they could be a difference-maker in the Western Conference.

As ready as fans are for hockey, the teams seem to be even more excited. The Ducks are ready to show why this team is being hyped up around the league, and they have a lot to prove.

Quenneville should have this team ready to go, and there is no more waiting for the players to develop. The clock is ticking on this organization, and the time to make that jump toward real contention begins this season.
