After a solid freshman season that saw him score 13 goals with 11 assists, Christopher Pelosi is on pace to surpass those numbers in his sophomore season at Quinnipiac University. On Tuesday night, the 2023 third-round draft pick of the Boston Bruins scored a goal in his third consecutive game in a 3-2 shootout loss to Alaska-Fairbanks. Pelosi potted a goal off a rebound on the power play to give the 6-foot-2, 200-pound forward his fifth tally of the season in nine games.

Pelosi was the 92nd overall pick in 2023 and has shown potential at every level. Known for his ability and willingness to get to the net, Pelosi has become a viable prospect for a Bruins organization that has seen improvement in their prospect pool. Last season, the Sewall, New Jersey native scored 13 goals with 11 assists in 24 games. Pelosi was tied for second in the ECAC in goals as a freshman.

Previously, Pelosi registered 74 points in 99 games for the Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL over two seasons. Pelosi, along with fellow Bruins property teammate Elliott Groenewold, has led Quinnipiac to a 5-2-2 record with road games against Yale and Brown happening this weekend.
