The Chicago Blackhawks announced Saturday that they had to cancel practice at Fifth Third Arena due to potential exposure to COVID-19.
The organization has, and will continue to follow, all recommended guidelines to protect the health and safety of players and staff as set by the NHL as well as local and state agencies.

The Blackhawks played the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday night and are scheduled to play them again on Sunday. It's unclear if that game will go on as scheduled.
Chicago placed Adam Boqvist, Alex DeBrincat and Lucas Wallmark in COVID-19 protocol this week. Blackhawks head coach Jeremy Colliton said earlier this week that Boqvist and DeBrincat, who live together, would miss two weeks.
The Blackhawks will likely add more players to the COVID-19 list following Saturday's practice cancellation.
