The Notre Dame junior forward leads the Fighting Irish in assists and points.

Chicago Blackhawks prospect Ryder Rolston will miss the rest of his junior season after having surgery on a broken collarbone Tuesday, according to John Fineran of the South Bend Tribune.

The forward prospect suffered the injury after taking a hit to the head in the first period from Wisconsin defenseman Luke LaMaster this past Saturday. Rolston leads Notre Dame in assists (13) and points (20) in 27 games.

The Blackhawks acquired the rights to Ryder Rolston from the Colorado Avalanche for forward Carl Soderberg in April 2021. Rolston has yet to sign with the Blackhawks.
