Both Galvas and Soderblom got the call to the NHL club prior to the Blackhawks’ recent three-game road trip. Galvas recorded one shot and a -1 rating in the first two games of the trip before being a healthy scratch at Winnipeg on Monday night. Soderblom did not see action in net as Marc-Andre Fleury started all three games for the Blackhawks.
Cale Morris owns a 1-1-0 record, .881 save percentage, and 2.55 goals-against average in his brief time with the IceHogs this season.
Rockford hosts the Iowa Wild tonight and will travel to Milwaukee to play the Admirals Wednesday. The Blackhawks are off until Thursday, so these moves will allow Jakub Galvas and Arvid Soderblom to see action in the near future.
