Blues dealing with discrepancies in COVID-19 tests ahead of Game 2 vs. Avalanche

The St. Louis Blues are dealing with multiple positive COVID-19 tests heading into Game 2 of their first-round series against the Colorado Avalanche, according to Sportsnet's Chris Johnston.

However, the team is hoping they are false positives.

The positive tests come after David Perron was placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocols over the weekend. Jake Walman and Nathan Walker are also in COVID-19 protocols.

Colorado won Game 1 of the series on Monday night, dominating St. Louis 4-1. With the Blues looking to get even in Game 2 on Wednesday, the hope is that additional testing will allow the contest to go on as scheduled.
