The Boston Bruins received some big news Wednesday morning after an announcement confirmed two injured players were present at practice today.

Following their 6-2 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning Tuesday night, the Boston Bruins received some great news after two injured players have returned to practice with the team.

On Tuesday, the Bruins were hit with a flurry of injuries and roster moves. Mark Kastelic and Charlie McAvoy both landed on Injured Reserved, with Hampus Lindholm being placed on LTIR.

The Bruins ended up calling up Matt Poitras and Michael Callahan due to this.

On Wednesday, the Bruins got some big news as both Mark Kastelic and Hampus Lindholm returned to practice with the Boston Bruins, but are wearing non-contact jerseys.

Mark Kastelic was injured last Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning when he received a cross-check to the face from Lightning defenseman Emil Lilleberg, and then smashed his head off the ice after fighting him.

Kastelic was wobbly getting up off the ice and required some assistance from Parker Wotherspoon to get back to the Bruins bench following the fight.

Hampus Lindholm, on the other hand, has been out since November 12th when he fractured his knee after blocking a shot from Justin Faulk.

He was originally given a six-week timeline to return to the Bruins lineup, and it's now past two months, but the fact that he is back practicing with the Bruins is a good sign.
