
The Boston Bruins signed four players today to two-way contracts. They signed forwards Brendan Gaunce and Brian Halonen to two-year deals. They also signed defenseman Maxence Guenette and goalie Jiri Patera to one-year deals. Patera and Guenette have an $850,000 cap hit, while Halonen and Gaunce have an $875,000 cap hit.

Gaunce appeared in 25 games for the Columbus Blue Jackets, recording six points on two goals and four assists; he was a -1. In 44 games for the Cleveland Monsters in the AHL, he had 36 points on 16 goals and 20 assists; he was a minus-nine.
Halonen, in 15 games for the Devils last season, had a goal and an assist; he was minus-one. In 51 games for the Utica Comets, he had 34 points on 20 goals and 14 assists. He was a minus-one in Utica.
Guenette, in 46 games last season for the Phantoms, recorded 24 points on two goals and 22 assists. He was a minus-six.
Patera played in one game for the Canucks last season, allowing seven goals on 40 shots in a loss. In 30 games at Abbotsford, he went 12-14-4 with a 2.63 goals-against average, a .910 save percentage, and a shutout.
