Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers dominated Game 5, but ahead of Game 6, he knows the Maple Leafs will bring their best to save their season.

The Florida Panthers turned the tide in their series with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and following their 6-1 victory in Game 5, they've got a chance to clinch a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals at home in Game 6 on Friday night.

While many have written the Maple Leafs off, long-time rival Brad Marchand isn't one of those people, as the veteran star knows that the Game 5 defeat will motivate Toronto to get back into this series and save their season following a disappointing performance at home.

'If anything it's going to make them hungrier to have a bounce-back game and prove a lot of people wrong, which is a very dangerous combination.'

Marchand knows how desperate and dangerous Toronto will be, but after three straight wins, it's safe to say that the Panthers have found their rhythm, with the Maple Leafs squandering a chance to go up 3-0 in the series that could have ended things in Toronto's favour.

While he's aware of how tough this game will be, Marchand and the Panthers are full of confidence, as was shown by his reaction walking off the ice following a Game 5, as the veteran continues to relish the role of villain in Toronto.

Ultimately, this game is must-win for Toronto, or else the organization will likely blow things up in the summer and make some massive changes, so while they'll be bringing their desperation in this one, don't expect the Panthers to take them lightly as they look to get back to their third straight Stanley Cup Finals.
