Team Canada won a thrilling overtime game last night over Team USA in the 4 Nations Final after the two teams battled hard in a heated rivalry.

There were plenty of chirps lobbied to both sides, especially with Brandon Hagel chirping Team USA's group chat, and Matthew Tkachuk responding that Canada must not like each other if they don't have a chat.

Brandon Hagel stirs the pot for Team Canada one last time on social media

In the middle of the night while Team Canada parties to celebrate their win, Brandon Hagel posted Team Canada's group chat on his social media - one final dig at the Tkachuk brothers.

The infamous pest Brad Marchand got in his final digs at Team USA in his post game interview, saying that the Tkachuk brothers chirped too much, and that Team Canada was always better.

There was a palpable rivalry between the teams during this tournament, especially after three fights to begin the first game between Canada and the USA. For that, Hagel was also a rallying point for Team Canada and Canadian fans.

Overall, the NHL hit a total grand slam with the event of the 4 Nations Faceoff in place of the All-Star Game. It'll be tough to return to that casual of an event now, but they'll be back to play international hockey every two years between the Olympics and the World Cup of Hockey.

Last night's game was a thrilling win for Team Canada, and hopefully an experience that will grow the game of hockey to more casual fans.
