Bruins reportedly send Brad Marchand to Florida, Charlie Coyle to Colorado, Brandon Carlo to Toronto

The Bruins are officially conducting a fire sale as this season goes down the drain.

According to multiple reports, after previously trading Trent Frederic and Justin Brazeau, the Bruins have been busy selling off huge pieces at the close of the 3 p.m. trade deadline.

The end of an era as the Bruins send their captain packing after 16 years.

The accolades:

Has 14 20-goal and 5 30-goal seasons plus 11 50+ point campaigns ... Has 6 team scoring titles ...Has 6 career hat tricks ... Has taken 10 penalty shots (7G) ... Has club record 19 OTGs and 36 SHG ... Named an NHL First Team All-Star in 2016-17 and 2020-21 and Second Team All-Star in 2018-19 and 2019-20 ... Won the 2011 Stanley Cup championship and played in two other Finals (2013 and 2019) ... Played in the 2017 and 2018 NHL All-Star Games ... Is currently in fourth place on the team’s all-time goals list ... Had 29-38=67 totals in 82 games in 2023-24 ... Was the eighth Bruin in club history to play his 1,000th NHL game.

- Brad Marchand passed David Krejci into fifth place (1,033) on the team’s all-time games played list on Oct. 16 in Colorado . He passed Don Sweeney into fourth place (1,053) on Nov. 27 at NY Islanders.

- Brad Marchand passed Phil Esposito into third place (78) on the team’s all-time list of game-winning goals on Oct. 26 vs. Toronto ... He currently has 82 GWGs, as he passed Patrice Bergeron into second on the list.

- Brad Marchand passed Rick Middleton into fourth place (403) in the club’s all-time goals list on Oct. 31 at Carolina ... Third place is ahead at 427 goals by Patrice Bergeron (Marchand currently at 422).

- Brad Marchand scored his 20th goal of this season on Feb. 8 vs. Vegas ... That tied him with Patrice Bergeron for second in team history with 14 20-goal seasons (John Bucyk, 16) and he currently holds the team mark with 12 consecutive 20-goal campaigns.
