Bruins will be without Chris Wagner in do-or-die Game 5 vs. Lightning

The Boston Bruins will be without one of their best fourth-liners in a do-or-die Game 5 against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday.

Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy revealed during a press conference on Sunday that Chris Wagner is unavailable to play Game 5.

The Bruins are down 3-1 in the series to Tampa Bay and must win on Monday to keep their hopes of winning the Stanley Cup alive. However, it'll be difficult to do so without Wagner, who has been a contributor for the squad throughout the postseason.

Boston also might be without the likes of Sean Kuraly, who also has been dealing with an injury and has missed the past two games for the Bruins. Nick Ritchie also could be out if he receives a suspension for his hit on Yanni Gourde in Game 4.

Wagner has two goals and an assist in 12 playoff games this season. He's been able to provide Boston with plenty of energy by providing big hits and making plays when necessary.

The B's could be in trouble on Monday, though they have the depth necessary to keep their dreams alive.
