Hage found the back of the net in the second period on the power play to make it 3-1 Wolverines. He then assisted on the very next goal scored by Jayden Perron to make it 4-1. In the third period just over halfway through he found the back of the net again to make it 6-1.

The Canadiens drafted Hage 21st overall in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. Hage decided to return to Michigan this season for his junior season as he wants to win a National Championship with Michigan. Hage finished tied for third in the country last season in points with 52 and was first in assists with 39. Michigan’s season came to an end in the Frozen Four against Denver as they lost in double overtime. Hage looks primed for a big season he is currently tied for the lead in points and goals after one game. He is expected to sign his ELC after this season and join either Montreal or Laval.
