The Vancouver Canucks announced the signings of defenseman Jett Woo and goaltender Nikita Tolopilo on Tuesday.

Woo agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract, which will pay him $775,000 at the NHL level and $290,000 in the minors, according to PuckPedia.

The 24-year-old Woo scored two goals and 16 assists for 18 points and 90 penalty minutes in 67 regular-season games with Vancouver’s AHL affiliate, the Abbotsford Canucks. He also recorded a goal and five assists for six points, helping Abbotsford win the 2025 Calder Cup.
“Jett was a key member of our playoff run in Abbotsford,” said Canucks’ General Manager Patrik Allvin said in a press release. “Logging those minutes in the playoffs should help him become a better player and leader moving forward. It’s an experience he can build on this fall to start next season.”

Meanwhile, Tolopilo agreed to terms on a two-year, two-way contract. PuckPedia is reporting that in year one of the deal, he will make $775,000 at the NHL level and $230,000 in the minors, while in year two, he’ll make the same at the NHL level but $380,000 in the minors.

Tolopilo, 25, played 36 games for the AHL Canucks in 2024-25, recording. 20-14-2 record with a 2.66 goals against average (GAA), a .902 save percentage (SV%) and four shutouts. He also appeared in two NHL games last season, going 1-1-0 with a 2.15 GAA and .885 SV%.
“Nikita had a good year of development in Abbotsford,” said Allvin. “He worked hard on his game, and he took a step forward in becoming a better pro. We will continue to work with him to provide the best path forward for both the player and our organization.”
