Chicago Blackhawks 2025 Winter Classic Jersey Potentially Leaked
David Kirouac-USA TODAY Sports

Excitement is slowly building for the NHL's 2025 Winter Classic between the Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues at Wrigley Field on New Year's Eve. Thanks to renderings posted on social media by Icethetics, we now have an idea of what the Blackhawks jerseys might look like for the special event.

The jersey pictured above isn't confirmed; neither the Blackhawks nor the NHL have hinted at a design yet. However, the high-quality images and Icethetics' reputation for scooping such matters give credence to these jerseys being the real deal.

Utilizing red as the jersey's primary color would represent a departure from the Blackhawks' looks for past special events. Chicago has typically donned black for their home outdoor games and white on the road. It figures to be a welcome development as the Blackhawks' standard red home jerseys seem to be the team's most popular look among fans.

The cream accentuations give the jersey a sharp overall aesthetic. Bringing the Blackhawks' iconic black-and-white stripe pattern to the chest level also works well. One can argue whether Chicago's detail-rich logo should be contained within a circle, but it looks appropriate given the overall layout of the jersey.

If these are indeed the Blackhawks jerseys for the 2025 Winter Classic, they'll be a worthy addition to the franchise's rich uniform history.
