Chicago Blackhawks Will Not Stream Prospect Games

For the first time since 2022, the Chicago Blackhawks will not stream their annual prospect showcase.

The Future Isn’t Free in Chicago (Or Accessible)

Beginning in 2022 with the new regime, the Chicago Blackhawks gave fans an event to look forward to. With the team in the doldrums of the league, Chicago decided to livestream their prospect showcase for fans. In years past, the showcase gave us a fresh look at Blackhawks stars Oliver Moore, Frank Nazar, and, of course, Connor Bedard and his debut hat trick.

However, this season the team will not livestream the games on YouTube or the Chicago Blackhawks website, unlike in years past. Now, to view the game, you must pay $ 10 for an admission ticket. If you’re outside the Chicago-land area, it’s tough luck this year.

For out-of-market fans, the first look at Chicago Blackhawks hockey will be on September 19th when the NHL pre-season kicks off. Chicago will be taking on the Minnesota Wild at the Grand Casino Arena

That is, unless, of course, someone sneaks a camera into the Blackhawks Ice Center.
